There was a very entertaining interview with Karl Lagerfeld on Radio 4's Today programme this morning in which the legendary fashion designer defended the fur industry, saying it is justified because the "beasts" fur comes from would "kill us if they could". He also defended skinny models and SUVs. This is clearly a man who knows his own mind and couldn't care less what other people think. Political correctness is not part of his vocabulary.
