A royal butler, who has just been driven up in an enormous limousine, presents a couple of homeless people with invitations to the wedding and a wedding list for Harrods. He also reminds them that the men will have to wear morning suits and top hats to the wedding.
CULTURE NOTE
In Britain it is customary for guests to send or deliver wedding gifts to the bride's family home before the wedding day. Alternatively, the couple may register at a department store (such as Harrods) and have a list of gifts there. The shop then organizes delivery, usually to the bride's parents' house or to the reception venue. [Source: Wikipedia]
